But why we cant be trusted?

I have been thinking about how dating sites and personal classifieds in papers and now on line work efficiently in countries other than Pakistan with the exception of a few countries off course.According to latest online surveys not only these sites are earning money but people who use mostly end up meeting some one through these mediums. Even India has been noticed to earn reputation in online dating phenomenon. People are getting married after getting hooked up online and in India this figure has increased over the last two years. Unfortunately in Pakistan there's not much to avail. If you are not going to college anymore and your job doesn't offer you opportunities to be at places where you can find dates, you are nowhere on the dating map. When I look at my options I see that there are no clubs, no night activities, no dating services. The few that has gained popularity are still the ones that do not provide any data from Pakistan. People at most are familiar with Facebook and Orkut that too is mostly choked up with spam and fake profiles. So what does this bring me to ? I am baffled. Is it because we cant be trusted or we don't like to trust others. And does that mean its a dead end for a guy like me in Pakistan. I mean I am a fairly good looking (read average) educated and privileged but single guy who loves his work and travels often. Since online mediums don't work here in Pakistan so we know that for sure and I am confused with my options.
